Thank you Senator … you and a small handful of others give me hope for our future. Thank you for this article.. I totally agree with you. I pray Australia can find her way back to our Christian values that our church leaders would wake up and speak up too. We desperately need revival in this nation

It's the reason why the USA is the richest, most powerful nation on earth. It was built on the same values. It's 'bible belt' is home to millions of Americans. We don't need foreign, fake religions here.

Totally agree with you! Feeling so sad that the Left is screwing up so much of our great Christian foundation. But God is still sovereign and He sees and knows all things and will bring about His purposes in the end. Keep fighting for the truth Senator. God is on your side! Australia needs more strong men like you

I'm glad to hear people discussing this from an Australian perspective finally. Our Commonwealth, like the U.S., was founded under the blessings of Almighty God. I agree that deviating from this has caused many of the issues we are seeing today and we need to return to the established covenant we have with him to once again prosper.

WELL WRITTEN RALPH. I FEEL LIKE I AM JUST ONE OF A TRIBE THAT IS QUICKLY BECOMING A MINORITY IN THE COUNTRY I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN. MY ANCESTOR WAS SENT TO TASMANIA AS A CONVICT IN THE EARLY 1800s. I'M NOT BLACK AND YET I STILL FEEL LIKE A NATIVE OF AUSTRALIA. THIS IS MY COUNTRY THAT I LOVE. LAND AND PEOPLE. IN MY YOUNGER DAYS I JOINED ARMY THEN NAVY. YET OFTEN I'M MADE TO FEEL LIKE A 2ND CLASS CITIZEN AND LOOKED DOWN UPON FOR BEING A WHITE MALE. MY GRANDPARENTS RAISED ME TO BE AN OLD FASHIONED CONSERVATIVE. I'M TRUTHFUL AND HONEST AND THAT AT TIMES OFFENDS LEFTARDS. I'M SPIRITUAL NOT RELIGIONS YET JESUS WALKS BY MY SIDE. FAITH, LOVE, FAMILY, TRIBE, CULTURE AND COUNTRY ARE MY LIFE ALWAYS. I'M AUSSIE AND PROUD OF IT. 🇦🇺🦘🇦🇺🐨🇦🇺

John 3:5-6 NKJV

Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. [6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Definitely, one only has to look at certain other faiths to see the advantages of Christianity.

I still rely on Almighty God to lead me and my husband does as well. We have a heritage of Christianity in this country that goes back to the First Fleet where the Rev Samuel(?) Johnson was the first Minister in the colony. Even the convicts had to go to church on Sundays. My 3 or 4 times Great grandmother came out from England in 1864 and I have her diary of her trip, she gave God the glory all the way and when she arrived in Sydney, the first thing she did when she got off the ship was to go to her knees and thank the Lord for this land and the safe journey. My husband's 3 or 4 times great-grandfather came from Ireland at the age of 19 to preach the gospel. He was a circuit rider in the Shoalhaven area of NSW as well as Camden and Campbelltown areas. He gave his life to the preaching of the Gospel. His obituary in the Shoalhaven news brings one to tears as it recounts his life serving the Lord. What has happened? Did people think they were now past this? They have matured and no longer need God? We must all give an account of our lives at the judgment seat of God. How will you plead? Christianity today is considered Old Hat, but believe me the Word of God is the only thing that will last!

Hi Bentleys. Inspirational. Like you, my wife and I stand on the hill of Christianity as the only foundation of a prosperous society. What disappoints us is the lack of "push back" from our christian leaders to oppose immoral policies that contravene our faith.. [go along -get along]

We went to epic in Canberra [crickets] We will oppose digital everything. Say NO! Neil

What are the values Christians espouse? don't commit crimes, have good morals, don't tell lies, only two sexes man and women, love God, don't create anarchy. This is why the left shies away from Christianity, it is the exact opposite of what they believe.

Leftards are the renegades of a peaceful civil society with their destructive mindsets that lack having any of the good qualities the Ladys and Gentlemen possess because they were raised well by their parents and have followed the wise advice that their family elders gave them. 🌌🌅🙏💛🕊🌏

Uphold the moral law (The 10 commandments), believe Jesus is the Son of God and be born again in the spirit. Develop a personal relationship with God and share, without reservation the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ who died for our sin and whomsoever believes that he is the son of God shall have eternal life.

The statement is partially true and partially false; the Australian constitution is not based on Christian beliefs, but its preamble mentions "the blessing of Almighty God" and was written by a society where Christianity was the dominant influence. However, the constitution is secular because it prohibits the establishment of a state religion through Section 116 and guarantees the free exercise of all religions.

It is important to maintain "the free exercise of all religions"

Not like "Islamists wish to IMPOSE their religion into Australians culture" per example.

The intention was not to guarantee the free exercise of all religions, it was to prevent friction between Roman Catholics and Protestants. Our fore fathers unfortunately did not foresee the rise of the far Left and globalist tyrants hell bent on the dismantling of the nation state.

In those days, 'other religions' were not a problem. In the case of our constitution the word 'religion' meant what is now called 'denominations'. In actuality, Christianity is not theologically a religion. It's a 'relationship'. Religion is a term where a group of people are trying to 'find God'. Christianity is the relationship that Jesus Christ seeks between Himself and all mankind. There is nothing that we can do to 'earn' our way to heaven. The only sure way of receiving eternity is to accept the free gift Jesus has provided for us.

You can't blame the Godless world for the state of the nation. It is the church that is meant to be salt and light to the nation and it is the apostasy of the church that has resulted in Australia disconnecting itself from its Constitutional roots. You can hardly blame government for not "humbly relying on the blessings of Almighty God", when the church doesn't. When corrupt anti-Christ governments demanded that churches close their doors during the covid scamdemic, they rushed to obey. Imagine what would have happened if the churches had resisted instead, and encouraged the gathering of the saints to pray through the great deception!

The book of muslims, The Quran says:

The Sword Verse:

[9:5] Once the Sacred Months have passed, kill the jews and the christians wherever you find them, capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them on every way.

So, why is the Christian West importing hundreds of millions of muslims, knowing that their ultimate religious goal to satisfy their Evil God, is to kill all Christians?

Let's say all western governments are corrupt, but why the people are happy to pay for importing, housing, and feeding their own executioners?

Some years ago, I read your Quran, Samdav....

It did not say "kill the jews and the christians"-- It says, "And when the inviolable months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them...."

You have purposefully misinterpreted someone's words. Perhaps to mock, cause division and fear among the people?
