By 2015 it had become clear that in Australia the ALP was deeply infected by the woke mind virus and corrupt Saul Alynsky style politics imported from the US Democrats. I was still mentally extricating myself from a lifetime of supporting the left but assumed everyone else was going through the same disillusionment I was going through. Yet incredibly all my friends on the left were in complete agreement with the ALP's support for the clearly criminal Hillary Clinton - apparently for the sole reason that she was a woman. None of her manifest crimes seemed to cause them any reflection whatsoever. When I'd ask them what it was they so hated about Trump - who not that long ago had been a slightly outrageous TV personality no one seemed to not like! - they'd repeat a series of adjectival rants which amounted to nothing tangible except for the infamous 'locker room' sexist remark. So began a huge break for me from everything in the past and all my social contacts. Thanks to Trump's dogged refusal to not bend the knee to woke lIes, he delivered me a liberation from my brainwashing. I have my occasional criticsms of 'The Donald' but in the scheme of things these are like gnats on the backside of an elephant.

I don't always agree with what he says (nor should I !!) but gee give me 20 more Trumps around the World and it would not be degenerating at the rate it currently is. There’s too many political parties in Australia! It is divisive. You vote for a minor party, and they don’t get elected- then the votes preferentially go to another party, etc etc. Most Aussies don’t make time to study party policies and are “educated” by the media while eating dinner after work. Just my opinion:- the UAP, the LNP , One Nation, Liberals need to get together and have a united front against Labour et al, and the policies that are destroying Australia.
