The Coalition’s failure to stand for conservative values has left our nation at the mercy of the most radical left wing government in Australian history.
It is uplifting to hear Senator Babet tell the truth. There are other upstanding politicians in some of the other minor parties who tell similar stories. Just imagine if they all got together in one new party to stand against the failed policies of both Labor and the Coalition.
You offered your political leadership?? Did you seriously expect Australians to accept your offer? If you did you are even more delusional than I thought. There may be some Australians who are a bit thick, but none that are that thick. You are a total moron.
Louis, I fear, as I have for a decade that their ego's (and that includes Ralph) just won't allow it. Who is going to be big enough to take the first step and say "let's create the "A" team for this Country........( a new Party).........I reckon whoever does that will be the new Leader........Pauline has conceded her name from the party she created....good starting point. My above point about ego's is not a knock on Ralph. You would get eaten alive without an ego of sorts in parliament, as in daily life. I would like to think there are some people working behind the scenes to bring this together (and soon!!!)
" Just imagine if they all got together in one new party to stand against the failed policies of both Labor and the Coalition."
You left something out. Try this:
" Just imagine if they all put their egos aside for the good of the country, & got together in one new party to stand against the failed policies of both Labor and the Coalition"
Yes it’s just so obvious. Australians need a paradigm shift. One Nation, United Australia Party and People First. I hope these 3 parties will at some point come together to rescue our country. It’s not about individuals, put pride aside and do it for the betterment of future generations.
sorry to disappoint you but a union of the so-called opposition, like the ones you’re mentioning, will never happen. They as well are part of the simulation of democracy and their role is, first to keep opposing voters fractioned into meaningless numbers and second to keep the opposing voters in the illusion the next election will change anything for the better, so that they remain passive, watching brainwash-TV and go shopping on the weekends. Besides, we’re facing the consequences of the schemes of the traitors now and cannot wait until maybe in 10 years some smaller parties have eventually gained enough momentum. The only thing that can force a traitorous government to react is when its citizens are taking their demands to the streets, in 100 thousands or millions even.
I share your pain, Peter; I've been ringing alarm bells via newspaper op-eds and opinion columns since 1976. I've run as a candidate in three elections and the best I did was 6.6% of the primary vote. The brainwashing of the population has been very thorough.
Another massive problem is the very poor security of pre-poll ballot boxes and the ease with which box seals can be duplicated. Activists embedded in the electoral commission can swing elections by swapping a relatively low number of pre-poll ballots.
"The brainwashing of the population has been very thorough"
You got that right PC. The Oz population is very comfortable (largely) and haven't really noticed, or cared, about the infiltration, the white-anting of our institutions, society & culture by the Marxists & others of the left. Slow & insidious, Fabian style, it has been, indeed, 'very thorough'.
So here we are; comfortable (largely), fat (figuratively), lazy and totally vulnerable to what lies ahead.
Much as I despise Marxists & the left, I do admire their persistence in marching steadfastly towards their long range goals. Their deception, lies & destruction of all & anything that is good, honorable & decent is quite another matter.
Should we have hope, is there a chance? Certainly, but imo not before a good deal of accountability. We all get what we deserve, eventually. Consequences. There are no accidents in the Universe.
Ralph is fabulous. Imagine if One Nation, United Australia Party and People First attracted the like-minded Liberals or Nationals. Maybe Clive can donate to them? I'm a retiree, life-long Liberal and I am despairing. We need a Trump factor and DOGE here!
I too was a lifelong Liberal, but I left the Party this year after their failed election! They were a mess of half baked policies. Too afraid to stand up for our lives and real Conservatives! I am now at a loss, where is a strong opposition to this appalling communist Government? Where is our future?
I have been looking for Liberal Party policies for many years. All I have found is blank sheets of paper. One nation for me (it has policies) and you, Senator, have my vote. Keep up the great work.
Foreign influence is the issue here. Too many global entities influencing the Agendas. Sovereignty is under attack by mass immigration. Stop all immigration for two years, this will allow for infrastructure development.
Reject all UN,WEF,WHO,IHR agendas.
Withdraw from the Paris agreement n nett Zero rubbish.
We lost our sovereignty many, many years ago, Roy. Gough saw to that.
The GG can't even sack the government now. Successive governments saw to that.
Societal destabilising concepts such as mticulturalism were embedded (unlawfully without our consent) in The Constitution. They saw to that.
Don't think we pull out of WEF, UN WHO or IHR as we were undersigned to that. Its all been done to our detriment, while the general populace kept saying 'She'll be right Mate'. Well, as you see, it won't be alright. It will take an army of good, honest, intelligent, patriotic men and probably 20 years to fix the mess, IMO. I believe a good start is to rewrite The Constitution or at least alter it, by taking out all bad bits put in without our consent, done in consultation with the people.
But of course, we first have to find the good, honest, intelligent, patriotic men first. In the meantime, The Vote is all we have at our disposal to effect change.
I will only vote for politicians that are for Australia. I don't care if the Liberals reform I won't trust them ever again. Labor is not fit for purpose. Yes I think any minor party that is for Australia and Australians should join together. How hard can it be to govern via a multiparty for Australia - at least there won't be any waste of time and/or money over which overlord to follow.
In every Western country, exactly the same scheme: two seemingly opposing parties which effectively persue the same agenda and a hand full of seemingly opposing parties which never have the slightest chance to stir policies in a different direction. Every so-and-so year the electorate gets fooled again, by corporate and government media, into voting for the other face of the same ugly shit-coin minted by global interest groups. There is a saying: "Only the dumbest calves choose their own butchers."
As long as the majority of Australians give a f**ck about politics and thus essentially about their country and the future of their children all what we are seeing is well deserved.
We no longer can afford to give up our responsibility for our country and our future and place it into the hands of psychopaths acting on behalf of a global marxist agenda. And that is what we are essentially seeing. The Marxist theory of the working class eventually overhrowing the "Capitalists" was abandoned in the 60s and 70s and replaced by "Cultural Marxism" which targets the capitalist societies from within. That's why we are seeing every tradition, religion, culture, common sense being attacked and destroyed. Hitler, Stalin and Mao delivered the play book of the re-education of the peoples and this is what we are seeing all over in the West.
All these points are bang on and fantastic. But we now know our politicians have handlers. Ones that anoint themselves as controllers even when they have not been elected by the people or parliament even. So how did they get so powerful and more's the point how do we remove them from halls of power.
The labor party is radical left and the liberals are left, what a choice for Australian voters. What i can't understand is why a good conservative third party cannot be formed. If the minor parties would put the country ahead of petty differences and egos and amalgamate, they would have a fighting chance. The name of the party doesn't matter. Time is critical, we need action now.
Australia is in dire straits right now, has been for years now
Politically, ideologically, financially - weak and vulnerable to ill winds - UN, WEF, etc
Damaging policies being forced upon us by sheer power of parliamentary numbers, subscribing to destructive, woke agendas without our approval
Confusion reigns amongst our younger generations who don’t know what to believe anymore, very vulnerable and easily led by opportunistic factions who wish to destroy our society and reap the profits for their own personal gain
Current labour govt wreaks havoc on the future of our country, leading us into poverty and subject to erroneous power brokers who would like to micro manage our very existence, dictating what we eat, where we travel, how far, enforcing everything with mandates
Removing freedom of speech, controlling access to our own money, is just the start
Thank you senator Babet for yr resilience and tenacity, while you fight for our country and all Australians
Lots of people have all sorts of comments and ideas. Indeed, the politics in Oz is dismal, and the left socialist/communist/totalitarians, call them what you will, are ruling the roost. It seems little can be done at this point in time to change things for the better. So many "laws" need to be chucked into the trash can of history. But that's unlikely to happen in the short term. The masses out there don't know their left hand from their right hand. Young and old are fixated on their mobile phones and most don't have a clue as to which end is up or what's going on. I'm sure there might be a few, a very few, decent folks in the parliaments, state and federal, but who they are is something of a mystery. The perks of parliament are quite good. We saw Dutton come and go; could have done much better, but win or lose he went out the door with an annual fist pull of dollars. Too many egos are involved for the minor party's to get down and thrash out a new party with vision. Essentially a nation gets what it deserves. Socially/morally Oz is a mess. From top to bottom it's a people problem. We are under judgment for the wickedness that stalks the land, and is getting worse. People need to clean up their own act before the nation can clean up its act. I don't foresee much improvement in the short term. It's sad, but the reality isn't good. Our current Oz is nothing like the one our grandparents inherited from their parents. Pity the next generation, there's is going to be worse, much worse. Currently tyranny reigns, and the outlook is bad bad bad......
Well put, Senator Babet! Many of us have been expressing privately what you say; that the Coalition and Labor are just "two wings of the same bird" essentially. Yes, the Liberal Party is cooked. Menzies must be rolling in his grave. We need an effective, right wing Coalition-of United Australia Party, One Nation, People First - and Australian Citizens Party (where the brilliant Andy Schmulow is). I only hope you, Senator, stay in the fight to see this through.
It is uplifting to hear Senator Babet tell the truth. There are other upstanding politicians in some of the other minor parties who tell similar stories. Just imagine if they all got together in one new party to stand against the failed policies of both Labor and the Coalition.
It’d be so good if they could all get together. 🙏🏻🥰
Go away you serial pest, and start taking your medications again. Your persistence is beyond laughing at now.
PLEASE, never come back.
You offered your political leadership?? Did you seriously expect Australians to accept your offer? If you did you are even more delusional than I thought. There may be some Australians who are a bit thick, but none that are that thick. You are a total moron.

Fair call…sadly. So much apathy.
The Liberals are owned and operated by the same globalists as Labor. They only pretend to oppose each other to give voters the illusion of choice.

You cannot beat the vote-rigged computers, Peter. This will change very shortly, though.
Yes, I know.

Maybe then, like PAN, you need to recognise the message you are being sent by the majority !
What message, and what majority? "Please explain".
Peter Andrew Nolan.....I think we've got it.
Ralph is fabulous. Imagine if One Nation, United Australia Party and People First attracted the like-minded Liberals or Nationals. Maybe Clive can donate to them? I'm a retiree, life-long Liberal and I am despairing. We need a Trump factor and DOGE here!

Senator Babet, you are a bright light of true conservatism in a cloudy dark future of Socialism. Keep up your great work !!

Yes, Gough started it all. Fifty years later here we are, Albo's stated he would finish Whitlams socialist agenda.
People power only happens when people apply that power.
Go figure 🤔
Sorry for typos Roy.

Yes Barry. Quite a few on this substack have been saying the same thing. Conservatives unite- it’s obvious. Why hasn’t it happened??…
Egos
